St Kilda period charm in ST KILDA, Victoria for sale
Hi, I have a room, can be furnished or unfurnished, for rent in great St Kilda location, in a 2-bed house to share with one friendly female and one friendly cat. I'm looking for a single female.
It's a cute cottage, with period charm - floorboards and high ceilings throughout. Nice sunny and private courtyard (with bbq). Close to public transport, and all the action of St Kilda, beach and parks, St Kilda Rd etc - but in a very quiet street. (street parking available) Broadband internet (including Netflix) - $25⁄month, plus shared utilities. The room is furnished with basic furniture: bed, wardrobe, couple of chests of drawers, small desk - or these things can be moved out if you have your own. I have everything else set up - lounge room with large lounge suite, separate dining room with dining table, kitchen goods and appliances etc.
It's $230 a week, available mid-August (somewhat flexible). No lease needed, as I am on the lease and owner is happy for me to sublet - so it would be a month-to-month arrangement. No bond as such, but I would ask for 6 weeks rent upfront. Short-term is ok, but would prefer someone till towards the end of the year at least.
A little about me - 35, quiet but friendly, mature, and considerate of housemates. I enjoy having people over occasionally, but basically have very quiet habits - definitely not a 'party house'. I have shared for years, and am pretty laid-back. Hoping to find a good housemate balance between friendship and independence... looking for someone who is quiet but up for a chat⁄cuppa⁄movie now and then, someone easygoing and down-to-earth, who will be reliable with rent and who tidies up after themselves without being a 'clean freak'. Generally prefer separate food and cooking - but definitely happy for the occasional shared meal or take-way etc. My cat is lovely, she's extremely sweet-natured and basically quiet and well-behaved.. she spends most of her time curled up on her bed, or a lap if available!
If this sounds like you and what you're looking for, I look forward to hearing from you! Cheers Cath :)
