Up for rent is a double bed in the living room of a shared 1 bedroom flat at $225 per week. The flat is fully furnished and just a 5 minute walk to the beach, with Foxtel Sports and super fast broadband ($15 per week combined).
It's a 1 bedroom flat, shared by you and another person, so although you have your own bed, the room living room is also used by my flatmate Ben, who is a 24 year old English backpacker. Sounds like it would be a pain, but Ben works long hours and is rarely home. He is also very respectful and rarely uses the living room. My girlfrien and I have been living here for 3 months and we haven't found privacy to be an issue at all. It's an awesome flat in a great location and we've loved our time here.
The lease has 3 months remaining (expires 1st June), but can be extended, so can be a short term rental or a long term rental. There is a bond of $977 payable up front, and the rent ($977 per month) is payable up front on Wednesday 2nd March.
The flat is available from 22nd February onwards. I am looking to move out asap. If you wish to move in this week, you can have the first week's rent free of charge.
